Παστέλι Κέας το Ανώγι

Ήταν το 1960 όταν ο πατέρας μου Νικόλαος Μαρούλης 20 ετών τοτε, γνώρισε το παστέλι για πρώτη φορά δίπλα στον παστελοποιό Κ. Κυκνα στην γενέτηρά του Κέα(Τζια). Αργότερα και ασκόντας καθ’όλη την επαγγελματική του ζωή την τέχνη της ζαχαροπλαστικής, τελειοποίησε τη δόση και το παστέλι «Ανώγι» πήρε τη σημερινή του γεύση και μορφή.

Ο γιος του Πέτρος συνέχισε την παράδοση, ασχολούμενος παράλληλα και με την μελισσοκομία.

Εκτός από το κλασσικό μαλακό παστέλι το "Ανώγι" έχει δημιουργήσει πολύ ωραίους νεωτερισμούς όπως: ο «Μυστικός Έρωτας» με πορτοκάλι και μαύρο σουσάμι εκτός από το ξανθό, το χωρίς ζάχαρη πολύσπορο (με μέλι, σουσάμι, αμύγδαλο, ηλιόσπορος, κολοκυθόσπορος, λιναρόσπορος, παπαρούνα και πορτοκάλι), με μαύρη σοκολάτα χωρίς ζάχαρη (σουσάμι, μαύρη σοκολάτα, αμύγδαλο και πορτοκάλι) και με λευκή σοκολάτα χωρίς ζάχαρη και σταφίδα -ξύσμα λεμονιού.
