Εκχύλισμα: φυσικά καλλυντικά από δρόγες, όπως τα έφτιαχναν οι αρχαίοι Έλληνες!
Η επιχείρηση «Εκχύλισμα» ασχολείται με την παρασκευή καλλυντικών από δρόγες(φυσικά προϊόντα).
Τα καλλυντικά αυτά είναι τα αρχαιότερα και τα ασφαλέστερα για την υγεία, όμως με το πέρασμα των χρόνων αντικαταστάθηκαν με πετροχημικά καλλυντικά που ήταν πιο οικονομικά και ευκολότερα στην παρασκευή. Παρότι κερδοφόρα, τα καλλυντικά αυτά έχουν από ουδέτερη έως βλαπτική επίδραση για τον οργανισμό.
Η αρχή για τη δημιουργία της επιχείρησης έγινε από την κα Σοφία Πεγιάδου- Κοεμτζοπούλου, Αναπληρώτρια Καθηγήτρια Παν/μιου στο τμήμα Χημείας στον τομέα Βιομηχανικής Χημείας. Ερευνώντας επί δεκαετίες τις συνθέσεις και ιδιότητες των τασενεργών ενώσεων (βασικά συστατικά καλλυντικών και απορρυπαντικών ) με μετεκπαιδεύσεις στο εξωτερικό και διδάσκοντάς τες στους φοιτητές, εμβάθυνε στο θέμα των καλλυντικών- σαπώνων απορρυπαντικών.
Εκεί βρέθηκε μπροστά σε μια δυσάρεστη αλήθεια: η κοσμητολογία είχε πάρει λάθος δρόμο. Στο όνομα του κέρδους θυσιάζονταν αργά και σταθερά η υγεία του καταναλωτή. Ουσίες που είχαν αποδειχθεί από έρευνες καρκινογόνες, χρησιμοποιούνταν και δυστυχώς χρησιμοποιούνται ακόμα (!) στις καλλυντικές συνταγές. Την ίδια ακριβώς άποψη διαπίστωσε και σε πολλούς άλλους επιστήμονες από όλα τα μήκη και πλάτη της γης (από τη διεθνή βιβλιογραφία).
Ως αντίδραση σε αυτό άρχισε να μελετάει τα κείμενα των αρχαίων σοφών ιατρών –βοτανολόγων αλλά και τη σύγχρονη βιβλιογραφία περί βοτάνων –καλλυντικών από δρόγες και να φτιάχνει δικά της καλλυντικά από δρόγες (κρέμες, λοσιόν) για φίλους και συγγενείς.
Αυτή η μελέτη αλλά και η εφαρμογή στην πράξη με τα άριστα και σταθερά αποτελέσματα, την οδήγησε σε μια απλή διαπίστωση: αν θέλουμε να πάμε μπροστά, πρέπει να στρέψουμε τη ματιά μας με εμπιστοσύνη και σεβασμό προς τα πίσω. Πίσω στις συνταγές του Ιπποκράτη, του Γαληνού,του Διοσκουρίδη του Θεόφραστου, του Πλίνιου του πρεσβύτερου και τόσων άλλων προγόνων μας που χρησιμοποιούσαν ό,τι στοιχείο τους έδινε η φύση για την ίαση και τον καλλωπισμό του ανθρώπου. Μετά από τόσες χιλιάδες χρόνια οι συνταγές τους παραμένουν ίδιες και τέλειες, στην απλότητά τους.
«Κηρωτή» (κατά Ιπποκράτη, Διοσκουρίδη, Γαληνό) συστατικά : μελισσοκέρι, ελαιόλαδο ,βότανα, είναι η σύγχρονη κεραλοιφή, που απαλύνει κάθε δερματικό πρόβλημα.
Στην ανάγκη να αποκτήσει μια πιο επίσημη όψη η προσπάθεια αυτή συνεχίστηκε από τα παιδιά της Ευριπίδη (βιολόγο) και Ευγενία (φιλόλογο).
Παράλληλα με τις κρέμες δημιουργήθηκαν και νέα προϊόντα (γαλακτώματα, σαμπουάν, οδοντόπαστες, σαπούνια) μετά από «παραγγελίες» φίλων και γνωστών. Με τη βοήθεια και συμπαράσταση πολύ καλών επιστημόνων-συνεργατών, κατάφεραν να αδειοδοτηθεί η επιχείρηση από τον Εθνικό Οργανισμό Φαρμάκων (ΕΟΦ) και να ανοίξει η προοπτική και της διεθνούς αγοράς.
Τα είδη των προϊόντων αυξάνονται συνεχώς και έφθασαν σήμερα τα 26. Με την είσοδό τους στην αγορά διαπίστωσαν με ενθουσιασμό ότι υπάρχουν και άλλοι, δεκάδες μεγάλοι-μικροί παραγωγοί που βαδίζουν στην ίδια πορεία. Έχουν την ίδια θέληση για καλά-υγιεινά προϊόντα.
Με ονομαστές εταιρείες καλλυντικών από δρόγες, αρχικά στην Κρήτη και σε άλλα νησιά και μετέπειτα στην υπόλοιπη Ελλάδα,
άρχισαν τα φυσικά προϊόντα να γίνονται γνωστά και να κατακτούν την εμπιστοσύνη του αγοραστικού κοινού. Άρχισαν να διαφημίζονται τα ελληνικά βότανα . Άρχισαν να πιστοποιούνται τα φυσικά καλλυντικά με διεθνείς πιστοποιήσεις και να έχουν ζήτηση από το εξωτερικό.
Καθώς η Ελλάδα έχει ως «βαριά της βιομηχανία» τα βότανα, με τεράστιο πλούτο σε αυτά, πιστεύουμε και θα θέλαμε η χώρα μας να εξάγει και όχι να εισάγει καλλυντικά! Θα θέλαμε το ελληνικό καλλυντικό από δρόγες να είναι συνώνυμο της ποιότητας και της μοναδικότητας! Το πολύ θετικό στοιχείο είναι ότι υπάρχει μεγάλη τεχνογνωσία στον χώρο των καλλυντικών στην Ελλάδα.
